Overview
Our commitment to preserving the spirit of the J. Thibouville-Lamy legacy has seen us embark on a journey of re-creation. Introducing the J.T.L Supérieurs après Stradivarius 4/4 Cello.
Meticulously handcrafted by master luthiers, the J.T.L Violoncelles Supérieurs après Stradivarius reflects the enduring legacy of Antonio Stradivari through exceptional craftsmanship and carefully selected tonewoods. Crafted from select European spruce naturally air-dried for over six years and European maple seasoned for more than eight years, each instrument is created with remarkable precision, offering exceptional balance, tonal refinement, and expressive character.
The finely grained European spruce top is paired with striking Grade III flamed European maple back, ribs, and scroll, selected for its exceptional figure and acoustic qualities. A premium African ebony fingerboard, traditional hand-inlaid purfling, and a hand-applied oil varnish complete an instrument that embodies generations of our luthier’s expertise and meticulous attention to detail.
Sound character: A refined voice with exceptional tonal depth and colour, remarkable responsiveness, and the expressive character to inspire confident performance.
