Overview

Our commitment to preserving the spirit of the J. Thibouville-Lamy legacy has seen us embark on a journey of re-creation. Introducing J.T.L Stradivarius Maître 4/4 Cello.

Meticulously handcrafted by master luthiers, the J.T.L Violoncelles de Maître Stradivarius draws inspiration from the timeless craftsmanship of Antonio Stradivari. Crafted from select European spruce naturally air-dried for over six years and European maple seasoned for more than eight years, each instrument combines carefully selected tonewoods with exceptional acoustic integrity, delivering exceptional warmth, depth, and expressive character.

The finely grained European spruce top is paired with a beautifully figured Grade II flamed European maple back, ribs, and scroll, complemented by a premium African ebony fingerboard. Traditional hand-inlaid purfling and oil varnish showcase the natural beauty of the carefully selected tonewoods, with every detail reflecting the artistry and precision of our master luthiers.

Sound character: A rich, resonant voice with excellent projection, balanced tonal clarity, and expressive dynamics throughout the full register.
