The Spruce top and Mahogany body of each of the Faith Naked instruments is 100% solid tonewood, in keeping with all other Faith series. However, the cosmetics and non-essential dressing has been stripped away, leaving the guitars in their natural, Naked state. Satin finished all over, the tonewood is almost entirely unrestricted in its resonant movement, so the tone delivered is far beyond what is normally expected at this price level. Fishman Pre-Amp / Pickup
This Faith Guitar is fitted with a Fishman Isys-T preamp (named Presys-T from 2019), and sonicore pickup. The output jack is combined with the strap button with a battery box fitted to the base of the guitar. The preamp features a Tuner, a contour button - choosing a flat EQ or a scooped EQ , and a phase button.

This is my second faith guitar, my other is a Saturn hi gloss. I was looking at a Mercury eclipse but it really didn't gel with me. This naked Neptune is so warm and resonant. A real pick me up and play me guitar. Lovely balanced tone. Not drednought boomy but plenty of bass and lots of sparkle. Strums well and a dream to pick. Feels nice, light and a very comfortable shape. The naked finish is great and completely different to my hi gloss. Nice to have 2 really different guitars. The woods are not as pretty or well matched as the hi gloss but the naked package really works. It's almost better for this and adds character. Electronics are spot on. I've adjusted the action on both guitars, I always do. Action was medium so quickly lowered. Beautifully finished though as with every faith guitar I've played. I'd thoroughly recommend this guitar and when you add the price into the equation it's a steal. <br />
I wouldn't be without it. This is a very 'friendly' guitar that is a joy to play.

Having spent a few months with my FKNE, I love it more and more each day. It is easy to play, and it absolutely sings. It easily sounds just as good as guitars three times the price. The satin finish is beautiful, as is the overall simplicity of the design.
