A hardboard straight trumpet mute produces a focused, more controlled trumpet tone with a warmer and less metallic character than many metal mutes. Ideal for orchestral, jazz, brass band and ensemble playing, it gives the trumpet a clear, defined muted sound while helping to reduce overall volume.
