Your Strap Button / Jack Socket problem SOLVED

Many electro-acoustic guitars feature a combined strap button and jack socket – this ‘end pin jack’ is an ingenious design feature that pairs two essential functions of an electro-acoustic into one discreet solution. Many pickup manufacturers including Fishman, LR Baggs, Shadow, AER and others use this system and it can be seen on leading acoustic brands such as Faith Guitars, Taylor and C. F. Martin.
In order to accommodate the ¼” jack socket, the strap button on this system is larger than a standard strap button which can throw up an issue when it comes to fitting a regular strap to your electro-acoustic – the strap connection is often too small or tight to fit over the larger button.

Simply (1) open the flap and Slimlock™ camlock (the metal attachment), insert your end pin jack through the larger hole, (2) pull the strap so your end pin jack seats itself into the smaller hole beneath, and finally close the Slimlock™ bracket and flap and (3) plug your guitar’s cable into the jack socket through the strap.
