Faith Guitars are delighted to announce the release of their HiGloss ‘Lyra’ Nylon String model.
The very first nylon string offering from the British guitar brand, the Faith Lyra is designed as the perfect nylon stringed guitar for non-classical specialists. It features a specially profiled neck that is slimmer than a traditional classical guitar. However, unlike other 'hybrid' guitars, it is not so narrow that proper fingerstyle technique is inhibited.
Part of Faith’s award-winning HiGloss series, the Lyra’s solid Red Cedar top and solid Rosewood back and sides are finished with an all-over high gloss LACQUER that enhances the traditionally warm and rich tonal character. This classic instrument tonewood combination ensures the Faith Lyra delivers an incredible level of natural articulation and volume.
It features a Mahogany neck with a figured Ebony fingerboard and a figured Ebony bridge alongside a 5cm genuine Rosewood soundhole rosette.
Onboard electronics are taken care of by a Fishman Sonitone preamp and pickup specifically designed for nylon stringed guitars, the volume and tone controls for which are mounted discreetly inside the soundhole of the guitar. It is a modern stage ready nylon guitar that still maintains an all-important traditional aesthetic.
